I drew always-a-girl!Evan and always-a-girl!Johnny for skategreat's cliché challenge (Cliché 1. Genderswap).

Somehow I always end up drawing the genderswap... what's up with that?

The art was originally inspired by alex_boylove's story by the time I'm dreaming (go read!).

I am fascinated by the idea of Evan and Johnny as girls because of the way the dynamic would be inverted, girl!Johnny would be everyone's darling(no matter what outrageous things she said) and girl!Evan the boyish competitor the USFSA would like to disappear.

Oh my goodness, you are amazing! And so are these! They are so adorable; I love the way you've made them girls but kept it obvious that it's them. Awesome, seriously!

:D Thank you very much! I am so glad you think that they actually look like Johnny and Evan! I drew the one where they are hugging first and they looked so generic that I felt I had to draw the top one to make it clear (I like Eva's expression on the first one more, I think).
