I drew always-a-girl!Evan and always-a-girl!Johnny for skategreat's cliché challenge (Cliché 1. Genderswap).

Somehow I always end up drawing the genderswap... what's up with that?

The art was originally inspired by alex_boylove's story by the time I'm dreaming (go read!).

I am fascinated by the idea of Evan and Johnny as girls because of the way the dynamic would be inverted, girl!Johnny would be everyone's darling(no matter what outrageous things she said) and girl!Evan the boyish competitor the USFSA would like to disappear.

:D Than you very much! I really enjoyed the story and I was curious as to how they could look like as girls, so I drew them. I love how alexthegreat manages that even though the dynamic is inverted they stay in character, Evan awkward and Johnny outgoing, but you can clearly tell where the support or lack thereof made the difference.
